Factory/Service Mode
Hi Everebody
I have a problem with a ps3 that I purchased recently, I cannot save anything on HDD I can only play the games. I try to change the hdd, but same thing. I try to format the hdd on ps3, but after 2h it's still on 0%. Thanx Last edited by bondak; 05-31-2008 at 04:19 PM. |

did it just one day start up in factory service mode or did you do something to it?

Sell it on ebay. You will probably get more than what you bought it for if it is in service mode.

haha, guys thats just service mode 1. it can be activated on every ps3. the realy interesting service mode is the second one: service mode 2. but you just can activate it via a special code entered via controler/keyboard and it needs an hardware key which is an usb stick. i doubt that mode got leaked, or do u have an usb stick in ya ps3?

Hi
There is some more info about the ps3 PS3 60G NTSC version In system information: System Software: 1.94 Free space : 30G all option are there in the XMB, but I have a red box in the right bottom corner with Service/Factory Mode. (check this pic: http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/7...c000132co3.jpg ) When I try to access to a HDD I have this error "the hard disk cannot be accessed (80029C41)" I can Explore the files on USB, but for exemple If i want to set a photo as a wallpaper I have this error "An error has occured (80028701)" Internet Browser work fine. but When I restart the ps3 I must to reconfigure my connexion (I not use DHCP). When I try to update the system with the USB stick I have this error "the hard disk cannot be accessed (80029C41)" Games on Blu Ray Work perfectly but I cannot save anything Joec03: I purchased Like that on ebay, so It work like that 5 days ago NeoSabin: All options are In the XMB, but I cannot save anything on the HDD and I cannot update the system. StreetskaterFU: It doesn't came with usb stick, I tried mine to make a system update but it does not work. Your help is appreciated I hope that the is a solution |
