an error occurred during the start operation(80010009)
the following games won't start due to the error..
1)Dead Island 2)Silent Hill downpour 3)Saints row the third Any solution? Patch or fix? btw my ps3 is running on 3.55 kmeaw Thanks in advance

Those games use newer keys than 3.55 has.
Your options are... 1. Upgrade to a newer CFW (4.2/4.3 or above) 2. Download a fix for those games signed with 3.55 keys. If I were you, I'd just be done with it and upgrade to Rogero 4.30 V2.03. You can flash it direct from the XMB without any messing around. Those games will all work then - including updates (updates won't work if you just download fixes for 3.55) |

and won't upgrading remove the jailbreak? |

Upgrading will not kill the jailbreak. Make sure you're not updating to OFW; if you upgrade to an OFW higher than 3.55 you will need a flasher to downgrade to an appropriate cfw version.

I upgraded as you mentioned. Now what to do for displaying the game from my external and internal hdd? which software to use? Please reply

Have you tried hitting the "refresh" (or is it reload?) icon in the Game part of Multiman?
This kind of eludes me.
