Don't suggest entering Factory/Service mode, if you don't know what firmware the console is on. You cannot exit FSM if the PS3 is higher than 3.55.

That is all true and may be the problem. But I would not suggest trying that, until you can further diagnose the problem.

I need to know what console is, if it's NAND then we all can be 90% sure its YLOD, couse if someone use progskeet it would be easy to see on MBO.

My bad I automatically asumed it was 3.55- as the OP presumed it was goosed because of a failed jailbreak.
