I really don't know the model of my ps3, but I'm pretty sure is compatible is a 40gb. 0 led are turning on, they turn on at one point, but then just died out. The esata station is working and red light is bliking on it.

The green,blue and red lights are not working, and everything connected perfect.

If you don't know what model your PS3 is, are you sure you can handle taking it apart?

The flasher gets its power from the nor chip. If there is no lights the clip is not on good enough, or on backwards.

I removed the sticker. It is a 40gb.

There is 2 stickers on a phat PS3 that will tell you your model #. One is black and on the bottom. The other is white and on the back.

Then their are other ways to figure out what you are working with. I suppose you scratched the letters off your motherboard, also?

There are 40gb Nand models, and 40gb Nor models. Look here to see what motherboard you have.
