Hey guys,

I've bought PS Plus, but too bad, my hard disk is too small in size. It's just 40GB and most PS3 games from the instant games list I cannot download. Just because it needs double the game size (cache and install).. which sucks.

So there is one game that I really want.. but I can't because of above. Yet.. If I can save it to an USB and install it from an USB, then it's alright

So my question: Can I download a game from the PS3 store and save it directly to an USB, instead of my PS3 storage and then install it from that same USB to the PS3 storage? (So I actually only need the game size just once)

My PS3 is not jailbroken and, since it's a 40GB one, it's a phat one.

A tutorial to download, install and play a game from an external hard drive (3,5" 7200rpm) without jailbreak is also fine! (which almost is the same

get your console downgraded by a professional and you are good to go. Either that or upgrade your internal. You can't use external on a ofw console.
