![]() your best bet is to measure the fuse that i marked in the left image, if you measure for resistance it should be 0 ohm, everything else is not good. if you measure for voltage it should be 12V on both sides. this fuse is basically for the 3V3 that you are missing. if the resistance is 0 ohm then if possible try to measure the voltage, it should be 12V when the ps3 is on, if not then you have a problem at your power supply. if you have 12V there on both sides then you might have a problem with the part in the right image, although i'm counting on the fuse. ![]()

I really appreciate your help and patience with me.
![]() I did the measures that you asked me, and yes, you're right, the fuse has a resistance infinite (broken). With the volt meter, at startup, I have 12v on the left side and 0V on the right side. Can i test with a little wire on that fuse, before replace it ? |

you could, but ofcourse that part is unprotected then, maybe measure the resistance to ground after the broken fuse first if it is too low..

![]() Finally, I replaced the fuse directly by the same I had on an other PS3 YLOD and my PS3 is alive again! I really owe you a debt of gratitude. I don't know how to thank you.
