I had a quick look for you, but couldnt find it..
Why dont you try fix it your self? Download the 1.08 update from: http://b0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net/t...8-V0100-PE.pkg Then install on your PS3, extract the eboot (and self/sprx whatever else needs signing) with a filemaneger or MMOS and resign with TASR 1.85 : http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=48008 ( you could probably resign the eboot in the PKG: @baargle might know how  )

the 3.55 elite club seems to be down, but this link : http://ps3fixes.funurl.com/ works, and there is no 1.08 fix up there yet afaik.
Also if he plays online he will get banned.

took this link down cause it did not work and needed to be fixed check page 2 here ya go bud Just made it, might I suggest updating to highest CFW ^_^ as there is no need for the 3.55 cfw anymore hehe  thats why your not seeing any 355 fixes anymore, cause most people on 355 know how to fix there own eboots now ^_^ @DEFAULTDNB just seen this thread and just whipped up a fix for 355, hopefully it works for the kid ^_^ I havnt had a failure yet at resigning updates and such for 355.

I was bored waiting for Sleeping Dogs anyways I remember telling myself I would never upgrade too Its kinda like when your a kid and you hate a certain food, then when your older you realize " HOLY SH I T I LOVE THIS STUFF" Your right though, at the end of the day its his choice, Im always glad to help out in someway around here.
