changing the IDPS foranother..isn't this like cex2dex..omac..hashes do change, this however is 84>84 but the rest values are not the same so doesn't ake this the "Edited/Patched" dump invalid in a way? ofcourse replacing the IDPS 2x in the dump will set them...this can't be a full-proof way correct?!

btw..u need to replace 2 instances of the idps in full NOR dump, atleast it apears 2 times

Sazerty has released a ps unban V0.1. it creates a pkg automatically for you. You just have to insert the psid, or you can generate your own. It worked for me when i generated my own1

yes you should be able to edit the ID in flash and flash it to your console but doing so poses a big brick risk.

I was generated maybe 200 id's and everytime error 8002A224

You must have a real Console ID :/ It's sad to say but the only way is to steal one from another console. I rented one and stole its ID in my case

Umm, it is really really odd. I dumped my rogero CFW 4.30, took the backup and opened it in HxD, modified the 2 offsets that was containing my console ID, flashed it back and my console doesn't turn on anymore. Well it does turn on, never display image but always stay on. I tried with no hard drive and it doesn't display the message not found so it blocks at some points before.

I'm fine for fixing it but why doesn't it works?

edit : I had byte reversed the dump x) let's try again

Edit 2 : Alright console boots but PSIDPatch still reconize my old console ID...
I dumped lvl2 from it and my old console ID is still there, how do I change this one?

Never do that anyone! Please just don't, I succeeded to flash a dump with a different ID, but in the end, it doesn't change your console ID because it is also stored at 15 other places. Plus, I'm unable to go back to the original number.. it bricks

why do this you can just use ps unban or psid patch everytime you turn on ps3! Why people are so lazy these days!! :/

Just saying, the lazy way is to use PS-Unban, the hard way is to do it ourself which is what I did. I have 2 PS3 and I would like to permanently change its ID to make it OFW

Yeah that would be cool to be able to change it forever then you can go OFW with an unbanned console if you want to.

I've tried to unban my ps3 using PSIDpatcher 1.6. I used a genuine consoleid and PSID off another 3.55 console. Then I ran PSIDpatcher on my slim with the genuine Id's.
The genuine PSID and ConsoleID changed over fine on my slim, but i still cannot sign in to psn. I've created a new user on the console and a new psn account online, but I still get told 'this console is banned' every time I try to sign in.

Any ideas? I also have a genuine bkpps3.bin NOR backup that i've viewed in HxD but the offsets I have tried don't seem right. The NOR flash was taken from an 80gb console on 4.11 OFW when I downgraded it.

Any help would be much appreciated thanks
