From now on I will be writing my articles in English. I’ve no idea why I do this, but I guess it fits the general gaming audience better. First of all, my sincere apologies for the lack of updates. I will promise you more articles in the coming future. I kick off this soft relaunch of Nederob.nl with some work I did last week. I had the chance to play the first three hours of the new Tomb Raider game and did two interviews with the people behind the game. Game producer Daniel Bisson van Crystal Dynamics was very open about the premise of Tomb Raider. He claimed it was better than Uncharted because the character of Lara truly develops in the game. In all fairness, when an adolescent girl like Lara develops from a chick that has never shot a gun before to a machine gun gang killing with three hours… I don’t call that evolution, that’s more like she’s some freaky chick with two personalities.

I'd say TOMB RAIDER has transformered more into a UNCHARTED clone. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a bad thing. I'll be buying it.

Lol...did a 12 year old write this? Is this a joke? Laura Croft has never shot a gun before? I still have the first Tomb Raider game. I remember shooting bears in that game. In fact I have all the Tomb Raider games and she totes guns in all the games. If anything, I'd say that Uncharted is a Tomb Raider clone. In fact I once wrote that long ago. Naughty Dog has about the same originality as Sony. And they demonstrated that with Crash Bandicoot as their answer to the Nintendo 64 3D version of Mario.

There is no doubt that Uncharted is a Tomb Raider clone, but whilst TR stayed in the past, Uncharted evolved to the next level.

I hope the new TR is a major success.

This new Tomb Raider is supposed to be a complete reboot so I guess seeing a 12 year old Lara Croft in the game wouldn't surprise me. Also, 3 hours of game play could encompass years in character development so seeing her progress from novice with firearms to gang killing pro is not that implausible, just saying. I'll definitely pick it up when it comes out. Here's a pic of the "new" Lara Croft

Will Tomb Raider is my number one game and my favorite is TR1.
i think the games after IV were not good at all because Eidos wanted TR every year and the games were released unpolished as in TR Angel of Darkness but it had many potentials ( I really Liked AOD)
And other poeple here said Uncharted is an Excellent Clone of TR in a good way but TR did not evolve
