This might be the first game I shell out $60 for in a very long time -- needless to say, I am very excited!

The one thing that worries me though is how popular the series is getting, which I cannot really complain about since popularity is what warrants a sequel, but when things tend to go mainstream or too popular, especially video games, the developer tends to lose sight of what made the series great to begin with. I don't want them to make it easier for casuals.

This has nothing to do with hacking? What a joke. Most people on this site can't get passed this little fact that we don't have to talk about nothing but hacking on this site. Some people like me come to this site for news and entertainment, aswell as all my hacking needs. Like stated, if you having nothing to add to the thread, GTFO.
On topic...this looks really awesome. Thanks for the news. This is one of the only games that I enjoy while also can't stand. No other game pisses me off to no avail, only to draw me back in after I shut it off in a mad frustrated rant. If you manage to make a game so challenging and frustrating, but the player can't keep his mind off of wanting more, you got a hit.

I'm a fan and a frequent player lets not say "a Killer and not the killed one " lol of Demon Souls and Dark Souls but I hope they don't make the game easier or put that monster on Dark Souls 2 ... I've looked also other concept arts and some are worthy and some aren't ... Also I liked the mystery of these both games and hope they make Dark Souls 2 that way

I'm ready to "Prepare for Punishment", but only thing is when I watched the trailer for this it seems that status ailments and weather conditions will impact the character on a greater scale. Imagine catching pneumonia when you go somewhere freezing cold then manage to walk through a moist area. Resulting in you not able to start a bonfire to keep warm while fending off enemies in you're sickly state. So many factors to calculate when there is already much easier ways to die. Even though this game is getting more attention than the previous ones once this game is released the day after it probably will be sitting on the shelves again.
