I have a PS3 40GB Phat that when i press the powerbutton the light turns green and the second flashes blue then it shuts off and flashes red and beeps 3 times. I don't know what it is could someone pleaese help me ? Thx

It sounds hardware error does the fan spin at all???

the yellow light is only for a brief moment, you will hardly notice it.
to me it also sound like an ylod.... and since the fan kicks in for a moment, it can't be a power supply issue. |
