What are the chances of Sony finding out you PS3 is jailbroken?
For those of you who have jailbroken the PS3, I just want to know what are the chances of Sony finding out you have a CFW installed. I heard that some people have jailbroken their PS3 and go online and have never been banned and some others have been banned. I want to know how they manage to be undetected from Sony. I would also like to know has there been times where you can safely go on your PSN and know that you aren't going to get banned.

Anytime you log into psn, sony can see exactly what is on your PS#. Stay offline, and they will have no clue.

But has there OR will there be a time when you can or could have gone on PSN safely. I'm just trying to find out to maybe jailbreak my PS3.

If you have your ps3 is set up for internet, then everytime you turn on your ps3 it sends logs to sony. They don't need you to be on psn for them to know.

If you don't go online with CFW, you are basically banning yourself from the network so why not enjoy it. at least that's my opinion. Just don't cheat and don't play the "risky games" like BO II online and enjoy! The PS4 is coming out in a year anyway.

The cfw ps3's have never been safe to go online with. Find original postings from when cfw first hit and they warn you then about how its your own risk getting online.
Also look back in this site with all the talk about Sony's new TOS for psn, and you wouldn't be asking this. Every last cfw user had to agree to it if they wanted on psn. Sony owns your console again according to it, so if they ban you for no reason, its cause they can. Again its a game of chance getting on and also depends on your actions while using there service. I'm so sick of hearing about being unbanned and how to get on psn safetly. Bottom line if you don't wanna hand rights of your console back to Sony so they control what happens to ur account, then stay off psn. Its simple it really is, and if your console gets banned just laugh and go about your life. The scene went 2yrs I think without legit psn access. Besides xlink kai works for online play and no risk of ban there, no need to sign into psn to use it either.

To put it simple the game manufactures arebthe ones that are banning systems. If they can do it what do u think sony can do...
