Yeah, I just reread the OP. He says it will only boot to service mode (he is talking about the recovery menu).

So @toolz will need a jailbreak device to enter Factory/Service Mode. And then do the steps I laid out in my previous post.

You said you used your ipod nano before. You can use that.

Can you give the steps needed for the nano and links to files and a good step by step. Don't forget tv screen is black so I can't see anything. Thanks for helping.

I do not know how to use nano for FSM.

I used a iPod nano when the first JB was released but forgotten how to get into service mode using the files you mentioned.

@playerkp420 I removed the ps3 hdd and formatted it fat 32 via my PC... rebooted ps3 and it complained about a format needed so i get a ofw 3.55 like it asks and begin to format, takes a few attempts but it finally formats well it doesn't ask again, now im back at the error with no applicable data found? ofw cfw just wont read? but now every time i reboot it has the error screen not a black screen the error screen being no data found ect, step further i think but no trophy yet, any info out there on this?
