Try a dual powered USB cable first you should be able to draw ~900 - 1000mw

Try and look at results

Or splice two dual USB cables that way you will have 5v 2000ma obviousley you will lose some powering the skeet and the step down to 3.3v ect make sure the transistor can handle so much been drawn through it also

Just stripped some out from multi-cored wire. Simple.0.20mm diameter.

No progress on NOR as of yet... awaiting delivery of Sarah1331's kind donation

ProgSkeet Phoenix v1.0

Right-tee-ho!

Just updated Schematic based on various requests: 50 way ZIF socket now added for completeness and as well as being able to plop a NAND flash directly onto the PCB, one also has the option to plop a NOR flash on it too now.

Apologies for the slight delay in updating all of this - with just two layers to play with and limited space (the smaller the PCB, the cheaper) it proved to be a bit of a head-scratch to route everything.

So, updated schematic:

Resultant PCB:

Schematic in pdf format: (as the above jpg may not be of high enough resolution)

Nice if someone could cast their eyes over this and spot any errors and report back before I order some PCBs (probably in the new year now).

3D Renderings of the PCB
