MultiMAN unable to make Blu-ray Backups?

So today, i tried making a blu-ray rip off Resistance 3 onto my internal harddrive using the latest version of multiman and it stopped at 50%. I repeated it and tried to copy it to an external harddrive and got the same thing.
Finally, i installed IRIS backup manager and tried to rip it internally.....same problem.

Any advice? And yes, the blu-ray reader on my ps3 is working.
Thank you any help/advice in advance

ps:
I have a laptop with a blu-ray burner/reader. Is there anyway i can just rip it off using my laptop and put it on an external hardrive?

your internal and external are probably getting full, MM was doing samething with my thumbdrive when i was trying to copy my ACT.dat file. thumbdrive had 30mb left on it but MM wouldnt copy a 1kb file. I delted the game updates I had on my thumbdrive and cleared up a 1gb on my usb and then MM copied the file >_< not sure why that is though

hmmmm ohhhhh wait you trying to rip Resistance 3 from disk @shadowwisp1 ? cause if thats the problem dude that happened to me when I rented it. Tried 5times to back it up and each time it failed at either 47% , 50%, or 89%. How I solved it was by FTP'ng the uncopied files from the disc to my external VIA Filezilla. They copied like a boss from filezilla to external, I think somethinig to do with R3 is whats doing it. Like some kinda secret file copy protection insomniac is trying out.

unsure as why its doing it though

god that was an utter nightmare. But i finally got it work!! . I ended up going to the mM file manager and transferred each of the four subroot folders to an external and then back to the internal. Im guessing the FTP would work too, thank you.

Yeah, it seems something the developers put in because I found the file where it would freeze and used the file transfer and it copied just fine. Strange how this isn't mentioned anywhere else though. Still, hopefully anyone with the same problem will find this thread!

Also: do you know what the PS3_Content Folder contains? Is that the folder that just has all the demos? Would deleting that folder not affect the rest of the actual game?

@shadowwisp1

Your welcome bud ^_^

And yes if I remember right thats where the demos are, just open folder and see what's there. There is also a bunch of music videos too. As for deleting that stuff, no it won't effect game.

I just git kingdom of amalur and deleted all the other language translated audio and movies for those languages. Game was 14gb and now its 7.4gb on my external and running faster and smoother ^_^ and 100%

Also if you ever wanna delete R3 install data, click delete and find something to do for a hour. Cause that us quit literally how long it takes to delete that games 2-3gb install data :-/

Try letting multiman fix the permissions and see if that helps.
