Hi, my name is Lee, I just thought Id jump in and introduce myself.

I have a PS3 Fat Running on OFW 4.3

I am very interested in learning to hack my PS3.

I consider myself an advanced computer user as I have completed computer and networking diploma.

I also have a Certificate III Electronics.

I also know that none of this is relevant when it comes to hacking Game Consoles. I just thought I bring it up to show that Im not a
computer dummy

With all the research that I have done regarding "hacking" the ps3 so that u can play back up games and install homebrew etc. It seems that the only way to get this to work is -

a: you installed cfw on a ps3 on ofw 3.55 or less and updated to the latest cfw 4.3 2.01

b: your ps3 is downgraded to ofw 3.55 or less.

So going by this information it seams that Im

That is what has brought me here, Im just hoping that some one on here knows a way that I can make this work and doesn't mind taking the time to show me how.

Hi there bud. There is a way out of that creek, however its called a flasher. You have a fat ps3 so you WILL be able to hack it. 2 ways to do it. First is for you to bug a flasher and all the bits for it, then 2nd is to get one of the guys here to do it.

You need to list your model number so we can see if it is nand or nor and take it from there.
