Hi, to all who have corrupted data after resign the save, i had same problem and found solution for my case. Let's see may be you got same issue.

Yesterday i had follow the steps in the VDO exactly and try to repeat many times but they all fail with save corrupt and cannot be copy back to the PS3 machine. But now i can get it work.

For my case i think the problem is the .NET component (or something) is missing or out of date and make the resigner tool cannot complete it work correctly. But some how it still give you the result and dialog show everything complete.

What i do is just change the PC to run and reinstall .NET (i use v4) component. Not means i need to change PC for this but it just the matter of place i work :P.

PS.
My old PC is win xp sp3, not sure what .NET framework it is but it should be quiet old. How ever it can run the resigner tool and yes give corrupt result. Today i use other PC which is win7 and don't have any .NET install before, so the resigner tell me it need .NET framework4, i install it and everything wirk as it should

I am wondering, can the game.conf be updated to have games that have copy-protected save files like Bayonetta, Vanquish, Anarchy Reigns, Street Fighter IV, ect?

How do I know when the games.conf file is updated? Asking this because I want to know when it will have Metal Gear Rising.

Download aldostools ps3 tool collection as it has the games.conf updated within Bruteforce Save Data. You can either copy it and use it with this tool or just use Bruteforce Save Data in the link below.

Remove the * and replace with a period. Don't have enough posts to post links.

You can resign your saves with Bruteforce Save Data and also cheat. Read the first section of How to use PS3 Bruteforce Save Data?.

Having trouble getting this to work it will copy back to my ps3 but then in game says my save is corrupted or damaged trying to use with DMC HD Collection any tips?

Yes. Just edit the gameid to your prefered one and it will work just fine.
