Mmm...I've got mixed feelings about this. GameStop has been ripping people off for years but so have developers and console makers. This just pushes $ony even closer to enabling their no used games policy. As it stands, I would rather have GameStop and have an option.

On the bright side, the market should soon be flooded with even more used games which should make the price drop for a while.

Gamestop has screwed over devs more than pirates have. They can profit from a single game numerous times as opposed to the devs only seeing that money once

They still aren't going to see any more money from $ony either. They just want to be able to sell that DLC. That's all another debate though. Most games I've pirated I wouldn't have bought in the first place. Or you take games like Far Cry 3 that I liked so much I went and bought it because I pirated it. I'm sticking to my guns. I don't trust $ony and I think far more people are going to be unhappy with them when they get what they want. The Playstation core fan base is a very whiny and spoiled fan base. I can't wait to hear them when all I have left to say is, "I told you so". Saying that Gamestop screws devs pretty much means that devs should get paid every time anybody sells a used game. They get paid once. I don't get ripped off by GameStop because I'm not stupid. I sell my stuff on ebay or Craigslist first. But I'm not gonna give game devs a cut out of it. I doubt pawn shops, thrift shops, or anybody else is gonna give devs a cut from used game sales either.

GameStop is also way overpriced in Germany. Interesting to hear its the same in the U.S.

piss on them ive always hated gamestop mostly cause the people that always worked there were arrogant *******s who didn't know jack**** about games.
