@arwynj55 , My mouse pointer is on the far right of my screen, but my mouse is on the far left of the mouse pad. I've tried reinstalling windows, but nothing helps! Can you?

seems like a loose connection.. try disabling your track pad (some laptops have a button do disable them) and re enabling it might help dont re install windows waste of time your mouse will eventually work in some time had this issue my self :P

i don't really care for all the smartass answers from a bunch of trolls who don't develop anything themselves

i asked a question, and was only looking for a succinct and informed answer, which i got from like 2 of you--thanks btw

as for the rest of you--get a life and learn not to be such ******bags about answering questions, or just quit answering questions altogether

You asked a question that has been asked so many f'ing times it is unbelievable you have failed to find the answer at least 100 times just by using Google.

The answers were funny for the most part, but if you have had a sense of humour by-pass then f off and go darken the doorstep of 'ICannotSmile.Com'
