I didn’t know at the time but i have a Test rig, im a complete noob and have no capability of using this to it's full potential i have no knowledge in debugging or the like, any offers for a test / debug unit?

OK after reading some of the posts.

I have to warn users that there are SCAMMERS out there who will rip you off.

Be warned that Ps3Hax is not liable for any transactions arranged on the site.

At the very least you should
1) get a home phone number of the seller/buyer (call unannounced a couple of times and check they are there - this should let you know if it goes wrong how easy it will be to speak to them if they ignore your emails **take account of time zone differences - don't call middle of night **).
2) home address - I suggest you send a card with a word on it and have them email you back the word.
3) only use PayPal
4) in an ideal world use Ebay (just put it up for a sell only amount and give the link to the buyer
5) ask for pictures with the sellers name over them.

Be careful of users who have just joined and have no known rep on the site or in the scene.
If they have a test/debug then ask them a few questions that only someone in possession on one would know (e.g. the starting letters of the serial). That's just one example but you get the impression.

Alot of work but it shouldn't take more than 4 days to finish and it is about $1000+

Stay safe in any deals you do.

My reply has been lost in the update, but i completely agree with Rip's, and also the seller needs to be sure about the buyer, they are just as vunerable as the buyer.

I searched google for playstation test debug as i knew there would be someone who could make use of my system, 100 times more than me! Im only using it too watch films!

I have taken photos, and i have also taken a few with my 'name' in them, all be it Winnie as Winston was already taken. lol.

But yes, im not here to rip anyone off, nor do i want to be ripped off.

The rig's firmware is 1.90 and at the end of the serial number: DECHA00A.
Im happy to send photos, just give me your mail address and i can use mine too, i have a ebay account and a fully registered paypal also.

If anyone is serious, have a ps3 test unit that I want to sell, if anyone is interested...Its a 60 gig model (the good kind! o boy ps2!). Oh yeah remember that debug/test units don't have regions, you can set it to whatever region you want. Also....that guy Winne aka Jai....you can't watch movies or films on a test unit. yeah it sucks, but thats not what a debug unit is used for! If you don't know what they are or what they can do, then don't say you own one or lie saying you watch films on a machine that can't play Bluray or DVDs. Geez

Just wondering, what kind of offers are out there for Debug PS3s? I mean, are there really that many people who want them? Also, how bad is it to sell these things? I mean, if sony were to see you selling one on ebay, what would they do?

Actually I watch movies on mine too, not on DVD but saved to the hard drive. To be honest though I hardly use it.

I attempted to sell one on here about 12 months ago but nobody at the time was biting. I think in the end one of the admin's were interested but from memory we just fell out of contact.

So here it is again I guess, I have a 60gig with firmware 2.30. I'm willing to do anything asked ie. photos (maybe with something in the photo to show it really is mine, like a hand gesture or something). I am a verified user of paypal, can ship through whatever means you choose (or arrange a pick up).
