I dont think we can sign for OFW.
You can sign for 3.41/3.55 (calculated keys) or 4.x CFW afaik.

I would like to make a PS3 app that can resign EBOOTs, not having to have those files over on the computer and stuff like that.

But I think ultimately Naehrwerts SCEtool is the basis for the re-signer apps we have
