E3 Flasher Weak Red Light

Hello, I'm new here. I saw that this place is filled with people who has some experience on downgrading with e3 flasher so I wanted to try my luck here.

So, I recently got my e3 flasher. I installed it as instructed in about 3-4 guides on youtube. I got everything working except the tf cover.
The tf cover the first time did not work at all, after I reattached the e3 flasher chip it got to work but with a really weak red light only.
where ever I go on youtube I see blinding green\blue\red light but on mine I actually need to turn off the lights to see if it's on or not.

So I checked out, people said I probably didnt attached the nor chip good enough. So I opened the case again, reattached the chip, tried really softly to pull it off to see if it comes off, it didn't, so I taped it over, I put about 3 pennys on that and taped them on the chip to make sure it is pressed down the mobo and tried to turn it on again.

But still when I turn on the ps3 the red light on the tf cover won't go off.
I know I attached everything correctly, there is no way it is attached wrong.
Is there something I'm missing?

P.S: Just in case it's not obvious enough;
1. The HDD is connect via esata docking station and it on before turning on the ps3.
2. My PS3 is CECHHxx and compatible with E3 Flasher.
3. My E3 Flasher is original and not fake, I checked that today.

The flasher gets its power from the Nor chip. So dim lights, mean you do not have enough pressure on the clip.

Do you have any soldering skills?
if yes, wire the Linker, it is more reliable than the clip if you are not yet used to it.

Sorry for going offtopic but connecting the e3 flasher to the hdd is only needed if your going to use the esata station? If so I wasted a-lot of time when I was doing my downgrade.

Could also mean that the front isnt pushed in enough.

Esata station isnt needed when downgrading

Thanks for replying!
I will add more coins to make more pressure and return with more answers, it does make sense, the first time it was a stronger light than what it is now.
I once learned how to smolder wires into boards but since this is something expensive and risky and I don't have the tools to actually doing it. I'll probably send it to someone who can do this for money.

While I'm here, can you explain how more pressure will get it working past the red light?

Okay, I've done it, I put about 5 coins in there and the red light is now stronger. Not blinding\flashing strong like in the videos but I can indeed tell if it is on or not.
Now, about that red light, how can I fix it?
