Hi just wondering if someone could help/explain what ive done and if i can sort it
i was originally on keaw 3:55 and i updated strait to rogero 4:31 by just installing the update pakage in the xmb
BUT I LEFT A DISC IN THE PS3 (motorstorm pacific rift )
now its upated the ps3 to firmware 4:31 and i still have my old packages on the xmb but none of them work anymore So have i messed up and now stuck on ofw or can i do anything to correct this

You're stuck and Will need a h/w flasher to downgrade.
Ofc you cannot run your programs, even though they are still resigned. They are signed with the banned 3.55 keys.

yeah i was thinking that so what firmware have i got on the system 3:56 ?
but it is showing 4:31 on the xmb settings i have not got internet on the machine so no updates via web

i guess u have not resigned any off your eboots !!

u need to resign all your eboots that been signed for 3.55 previous as they wont work . u need to sign them for 4.21

do u still have app home on the screen and install packages ?

if you put rogero 4.30v2 cfw on and it has successfully gone on then to check just try re-installing in the xmb
if you have rogero then it will install
if its 4.31ofw then it will find a corrupt file or no update data

You are on rogero I reckon. You need to do as @carldenning has told you. Or just download the apps that are signed for 4.30 cfw
