multiman 80010017 help please - PS3Hax Network

40 gb
4.30 rogero cfw

so my ps3 has a broken blu-ray so I took the bluray out and connect to kabels to the board (I dont know how the smal board thing connected to the bluray is called )

so I put mw3 on a usb and when I launch the games I get the 80010017
so I also copied the game to the hdd of the ps3 and I still get the same error when I launch the game please help me

was u running mw3 off disc before bdvd broke? that error is usually to do with improper keys used to sign the eboot. for example a 3.55 signed eboot will not work on 4.30 cfw. u could try installing all the updates for the game. also to run the game externally u need to press square in mm then bubble in external and bd-mirror.

I bought my ps3 with a broken bluray before mw3 came out and yes I check the external thing and when I launch the games I get a black screen and my ps3 turns off

Well, why do my 3.55 signed games work on 4.30?

My solution : try deleting the latest installed patch in gamedata.

ok.. allow me to rephrase... if you had to resign an eboot. or u downloaded a modded eboot that was signed by the old tools to make it work on 3.55. it will not work on newer firmware unless resigned with updated keys or using the original eboot...
