PS3 Error Code 80010017
Hello, I just recently got this playstation with kmeaw 3.55cfw and it came with a few games and all of my call of duty games dont work and any games I put in dont work. I got call of duty 4 to work but when i click muliplayer it goes to a black screen and freezes. Any suggestions on what I should do? ~Andrew

Do you have a backup copy then I would re-rip the game. If the game is fine I would reinstall the kmeaw firmware.

Some say it would be cleaner. But you can just install kmeaw over your current kmeaw you can.
Your problem can be so many things like the custom firmware, bad rip, bad bluray disk, bad bluray drive (if u have the disk), external hdd or install hard drive failing. Freezing & black screen game or ps3 actually started happening to me recently and found it was my external HDD that I was running games from was failing. Sure enough after hooking my external HDD to my computer it had trouble reading it, acting very strange and finally stop reading, threw a bunch of errors and now cant not working and I cant get my data off it. So first thing you should do is a BACKUP on your PS3 and your external if you have one. |
