I love my ps3 but my choice is a pc over it. It has a lot more power n has np issues with any of my games except the hackers online. I have both the slim model and the phat and have had them for along time. I just hate the drama of this scene n maybe it will clean up 1 day.

I thought I read it correctly. The title should say New Cobra CFW - Sony Removes MORE features. I never bought a dongle because it get's rid of other OS and I'm a big fan of Linux on a game system "just because" and it was a key selling point for me to buy my ps3. If open cobra is released of course I'd be very happy for psx iso & psp game support.

Although when I got my ps3 I had firmware 3.20 or something just above 3.15 but under 3.41 and found out other OS was removed, I also had no idea that not all ps3's weren't BC, didn't have 4 usb slots and media card readers. I was very upset about no ps2 support but over looked it for other OS then I found out it was gone so I upgraded to 3.41 & thanks to psgroove I never looked back until Graf(superhero) made it his purpose on earth to bring back what was *silently* removed. I was very upset by both sony's website which listed it as a feature on my purchase date and the idiot's at gamestop. Anyway, I have a ps2 & a memor32. </unrelated>

Yes, they are. Microsoft has numerous open source projects. Microsoft Windows isn't open source but there are open source implementations of it's api and OS features.

Linux is something completely different from Windows. Linux is Linus Torvaalds implementation of Unix. While still an OS it does not have anything to do with Windows. :P Cobra is prolly removing this feature since they know 0ct0 has their days numbered.

I can not understand why Cobra taken out the PS2 option.
ultimately is the only ps2netemu an extended form of ps2softemu.

basically we need the Cobry code but only the play of PSP games allow.

would we have a program that allows us to own PSX and PS2 to create content then we would be one step further.

e.g. Classic PS2 content with USB loader

so I think cobra is not useful function is a waste of money I'd rather get my money the developers can deliver us good homebrew and emulators. and tools to provide our content, I would just financially.
