Hi Everyone.

I have a little big problem here hehe, i have a PS3 FAT 80GB CECHL01 recently RSOD repaired, it was 3.55 NOTHEROS5 (which skips the red screen error bla bla) and everything appear normal, i tried to install some other CFW 3.55 to test if i could solve the problem of trophies, savedata, etc, then i tried with 3.55 kmeaw.

I installed from the recovery on 3.55 NOTHEROS and apparently all normal, I get to 50% and to my surprise restart instead of start gave me the typical symptoms of a YLOD (1 seconds after the green light yellow and then red light flashing) and believe me it no GPU problems.

Any possible solution to this cake q just did.????

I assume its a GPU issue as it wouldn't fail during an install for any other reason.

Prolonged use on NoOtherOS CFW, will lead to permabrick. It is only meant to bypass the red screen error, so you can run the rsod.fix.pkg.

What you can do, to know if the YLOD is from a bad flash. Is solder a wire from nor tristate to a ground point.
If it stays on no video, no hdd activity (GLOD). Then it is bricked from a bad system software update.

If it doesn't stay on, and does the same YLOD. Then it is a hardware problem.

how can i recover my console?? ideas, tutorials etc..

You will need a hardware flasher.

I would fix it like this with my e3 flasher.

the friend who lends me the e3 flasher, will be traveling for a long time and do not really want to buy one, I have another alternative?

The only other option would be to send it someone.

I offer downgrade service in the U.S.A. I can most likely get your PS3 working again. And fix the RSOD problems.

It will end up on the latest Rogero. But no trophy errors from the hidden RSOD.
