I'm new to the PS3. I'm running 4.31 OFW. I want to downgrade to 3.55. How would I Downgrade with a usb so I don't got to buy a E3 flasher. If someone could help me out or point me to a tutorial that would be great. thanx

Have you checked your PS3 is even downgradable? If not, run MINVERCHK from the links in my sig below.

You cannot downgrade without a hardware flasher.

Read this tutorial: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=39766 and buy a flasher if you want to downgrade.

There is NO OTHER WAY.

Well ... There two other ways to downgrade without buying hardware

1. Send it to a downgrader
2. You can downgrade with just USB and pixi dust

I've got a slim. It is downgradable. the model number is CECH-2001B. I know I need the limited E3 flasher, so I have been doing some research, but I figure some 1 here could help point me in the best direction so im not just pissing away money. Just like any1 I'd rather find the best deal I can...
