This is probably a stupid question, but how do I uninstall this CFW and go back to OFW 3.55?

Hello, I have the ps3 model 3001b, how can I downgrade to cfw 3.55 so I can install the cfw 4.30

I don't understand that Dehash part and QA stuff, do I need to do it I have 3,55 ofw never downgraded or anything?

Aight so I'm guessing what you're trying to tell us is that if your OFW is 4.xx you cannot update to CFW??? If so.. thats freaking lame

so just making sure i understood this correctly. I am on 3.55cfw kmew and so all i have to do is install the update file of Rogero CFW 4.30 (version 2.05) and i can play portal 2 MW3 etc without modifying the game or do i still have to modify the game to get them to play? I haven't been in this scene for over a year. I appreciate your help.

I there. This works fine for me. I used the blue USB Amazebreak.com for a long time. But it didn't work 100%. Same games didn´t work, i needed to use Edited EBOOTs. With Rogeros CFW everything works very fine. Every game i have work 100%. I only have to download the original EBOOT for Gran Turismo 5. 5 stars. Very thanks to all comunity PS3Hax.

Hi there.

So, this is how i did this, for everyone that is confused about the OFW and CFW.

I was on 3.41 (downgraded from 3.55) i downloaded the OFW 3.55 from Sony and installed in XMB==>> System Setting ==> System Update and select Update via Storage Media (i did nothing else, just put on USB FAT 32, it's simple)
Restarted.
Downloaded the CFW 3.55 Kmeaw, and installed same as previous.
Downloaded the Rogero CFW 4.30, and installed same as previous.
Installed the latest multiMan, and there it goes, smooth as new.

ps: Tasted with Batman Arkham City, it worked fine, now I'm going with AC: R

I'm unsing a Tb Dongle and i want to upgrade to Rogero. My cuestion is...: Al the games that are working now with the 3.55 patches and the TB Patches, will still work in the Rogero CFW? or do i need new patches for all of those games?

Small issue I have with this tutorial.... why couldn't you link to tortuga-cove for the pup? I can understand mirrors, but you cut out the original source completely
