No offence guys but I for one think this device is an achievement. You can call it what you want, but in a technical view of the product, its quite awesome. I mean we have a drive emulator (requires a key) but once that is gotten, we have a fully emulated PS3 Drive, which will to the quality of the image emulate a real hard-copy disk. This is a totally different approach and since there is no competition its not a "rip-off" it is their own work. The FPGA's are worth quite the penny without being drive emulators so I expect this to be in the $150 range (at least). Once the drive key is gone no matter what firmware you are on, it will boot the ISO because its not a software method. With this if we sign homebrew like original sub 3.56 games, it will boot (at least to my knowledge). I for one won't be buying one, because I'm cheap and i primarily use my PS3 as my video entertainment system but I give these guys props, drive emulators are hard work. Especially with a mostly undocumented hardware protocol.

that product is fu*king useless. I want a new CFW on my 3k PS3 even though it's not gonna happen for many years. Play PS3 games without using a disc = cool ! but there will be no homebrew stuff on 3k PS3 = useless!

Funny, aye. I don't know why those greedy developers (like TB developers) like to make money in PS3 scene. It's just not right.

Compatible with all PS3 models including phat/slim and super slim (SATA/PATA), on exploitable consoles. Work is in progress for key extraction on non exploitable consoles.

of course. I also understand that they will make a lot of money, like they did with CobraUSB. People with 3k, 4k and 25x consoles will buy it, that's for sure.

On the other hand I really hope that true devs will discover how they managed to extract the key and post the code all over the web. This will **** cobras business plan and clones will appear. it's not the perfect solution, but it's less money for the bastards. finally a CFW will appear and we'll have a FREE ps3 scene again
