Hi,
I have a 4.21 console and I wanted to downgrade it to Rogero 4.3 v 2.05. I used the E3 Flasher. I successfully updated the flasher and backed up my bios. But when I began the Restore process it got an error 10001111 "Failed to write PS3 BIOS". Since then I am not able to turn on my console. Every time I switch on the button it turns green for a second and then turns off immediately. I don't see any other lights after that, it simply turns off. I cannot access the Safe Mode. I have tried booting up with HDD, and any other known methods but it does'nt turn on.
Please suggest what to do.

dont "downgrade"(it was an update lawl) instantly from ofw 3.56+ to a cfw
you have to go down to ofw 3.55 and then install a cfw with the ps3's own update function in recovery mode

do you have a valid dump before u updated?
maybe check the wires/clip

the best is when you contact @bailyscream since hes very known with flashing

You can downgrade directly to rogero 4.30 cfw v2 no problem without 3.55 ever getting used. It's a 4.30 cfw signed with 3.55 priv keys and check disabled so no problem there. To the OP I believe you have tried to write an invalid dump. You will need to solder a wire from nor tristate on mother board to sbe on the ribbon cable and try and read a valid dump. There is a guide which I will link in 2 mins, but you have semi bricked as you did not verify your dump.

Thanks for the replies. Just wanted to inform I have a valid dump "bkpps3.bin" which was varied under the E3 NOR Dump Checker 1.0 as " Verification Completed Successfully: E3 Dump has been verified with no errors". Thereafter I started the process of Restoring (All switched Down). I think the clip was also firm and installed correctly since there were no issues with the backup process. But now the console won't start up, there is nothing that comes up on the screen and it shuts down in a split sec. Please tell me what to. I am really bad with the soldering things so I would prefer any other way, if available.

Did you even take time to read my post???? If you did then you can confirm somebody experienced verified your dump. You can not and I repeat NOT verify your dump with a programme. Please get your dump verified. It is not as simple as drag and drop and wish for the best, you need to check stats and offsets. Please LISTEN when you are being offered help. Oh and by the way soldering wire from nor tristate to sbe on ribbon will be the only way to keep your console switched on to possibly try and read a good dump. Providing you have not written over valuable info on the nor with your BAD dump. Please listen, and then you may LEARN!!!

I went through all that you wrote and since I am really worried about my console, I really went carefully through your reply. I really appreciate all you have been doing to help me. I have also understood that there may be an error in the dump and as you said it cannot be verified using any software, what are the options left for me. Should I solder the E3 and then do the rest of the process? Please be a little more elaborate. Thanks a lot for your help. God bless

start with getting the dump verified
if it's ok then and only then you should proceed
if the dump is bad and you flashed it well you made a door-stopper
