eid5
I was looking at my decrypted metldr and a decrypted isoldr.
It seems that many hex values from one can be found in the other. I cannot confirm this following statement, but I do believe the keys to decrypt eid5 can be found, by comparing decrypted metldr and decrypted isoldr and also decrypted appldr using 3.55 as a base for all files. Well unless someone leaks dex 4.30 there is no way to know if rehashing eid5 will allow dex installation on retail units. Also, according to the devwiki eid3 is zero filled on a dex. I do believe rehashing eid5 is easier to achieve than most devs would have us believe. The required info is available now, but can any one make sense of it? I have tried, but I will not guarantee any success. I think it would be sad if I were to release the eid5 decryption algorithm before someone who knows more about the ps3 than me does. |
