This method should work on all Nor model PS3s, from CECHH to CECH-25xx (with date code 1a, and some with date code 1b). As long as there is not metldr 2.

Look at the chart here. There are some datecode 1b with no metldr 2.

It is very easy. You could follow my guide below, up to Chapter 2 Step 2. Then instead of the patcher I have in the guide, use this one: http://www.mediafire.com/?xn95vl5y3q5rcdf

Then continue with the guide until Chapter 2 Step 15., where it says DO NOT CONNECT CONTROLLER.
Instead you do connect the controller.
Put Rogero_4.30_v2.05_PS3UPDAT.PUP onto a USB flash drive. Renamed and in the filepath like this:
USB ROOT: PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP
Put the USB stick in the right port of the PS3, and press start and select.
And BINGO!
It will install and you will be on Rogero 4.30.
Then if you get an error when trying to install a package, enter the recovery menu, and choose option 3. Restore File System.
Enjoy.

Oh yeah, that is another good thing. It didn't format the drive, so the customers profile was still there. @pezao We can not help you, if you don't provide the info about your dump. Who validated it? Because this should work perfect for you, if you have a valid dump.

Are you not using PS3 NOR Patcher v1 Three Musketeers.rar? If you use the regular patcher you will brick.
