That's who I've been in contact with and I bought a system from him. I should have it on Monday 1-21. He has really helped me and I have to say his communication skills are great. Not one time have I ever had to send a repeat message, he's always responded quickly and has explained things well. I'll be leaving some positive feedback soon!! there's still hope and good folks among us hehe....playerkp420/keano/sarah and a couple more like racer/mushy etc all offer great services..well i speak for mushy in the UK, to bad some communication went wrong on the latest NAND....he then shoved the infectus chip disconnected in the box because that CECHGxx was a b*tch or something.....he fixed mine so fine the attempt to solder Teensy..for that i cannot thank him enough


but, now u still didn't post the guys name, it would be nice for others in the US to skip this guy....but by now they should already know the good from the bad

Oh and here is the funny part, he sent me a short video that was upside down and not very clear. It only showed the playstation boot to the green screen and half of a serial number. I told the guy I wouldn't mention his name that is the only reason why I have yet to post it. Player can vouch for the damage done to the ps3 that it was not during shipping. It was a sloppy reflow job that didn't need to be done in the first place. I'm sure he is following this post, I'm waiting on him to comment then I will out him.

Haz367 named him, have you personally used all of the mentioned names above? Maybe I was the just the unlucky first person that got crapped on as he stated he has downgraded over 1700 machines and mine has been the first with an issue. Well, second time he said that I was the only one but first he said there was one other. Oh well, Lesson learned and I will definitely not be sending any business his way. I will however send all my business to Playerkp420. He was honest and straight up with me from the start.

the NAND got RLOD after awhile but without a fanmod...cramming the consoe in a closed space..heavy duty gaming..old console = bad luck = nobody's fault, it is reflowed atm + fanmod = fully working again


see, it could also be (and i'm not pointing to u here!!) that occasionally maybe a guy sends a "faulty" console to those guys?! and then complain..i don't know....woha this stuff...we must practice solder so we can fix on our own

My console worked fine, I have never opened it. It stayed on my entertainment stand for 2 years. I know nothing about tinkering with the insides of a ps3 so I never opened it and the warranty seal was intact when it was shipped out. That was my mistake for trusting another and it will NEVER happen like that again. I had planned on snapping a few pictures but I was rushed to send the payment in as he was expecting 20 consoles to come in and the payment saved my spot. My system was not faulty, Ive never had any issues with it. Think what you may but I wouldn't be as p1ssed about the issue at hand if it was indeed my fault or if I tried to send in a junky console. I know there are people out there who are capable of doing a crappy thing like that but I am not one of them. I work hard for what I have and wouldn't want someone to take advantage of me so therefor I do not do that to others as I truly believe in karma and I don't need any negativity.

i have posted about this before and like u posted....20 consoles etc...bam it's a mess....can't keep up etc etc...i posted back then that he should not accept any consoles then and first finsich the rest or just be fair and say so that it takes a long time to arrive back..

to post in Mushy's defense here some images of my attempt at soldering the Teensy wich he then fixed for me, now u cannot say if doesn't know his stuff, but again whatever happend there we may never know right? people sell consoles to others, the guy then needs to open the Ps3 and discovers a broken BD ribbon clip...oh well here the images of a great fix..not that i've heard from him anymore after showing me the Teensy dual boot project...wich i really liked
