Hello there,

I think I brick my ps3 while doing the downgrade using E3 flasher.

Well I managed to update and create a Dump with success but when trying to downgrade using a e3_downgrade bin a error occured ( 10001111) so I turn my console off. After a couple minutes I tried to turn the ps3 on then heared 3 beeps and the console went off with blinking flashing red light.

I am stuck and need some help. I tried the heat gun stuff, applying new thermo paste, still no joy. Well I become to lose hope. I will really appreciate if anyone out there could help.

do u have a vaild dump ?! if yes then try rogero auto patcher .. or else stop doing anything and upload ur dump here http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=48432 and read well before u do smthn u will regret ..

hmm...e3clip not taped down well...took some backups....verified?......go write the downgrade patch....e3clip comes loose...bam....fail at writing....ps3 goes off...ps3 can't boot cuse missing stuff on NOR flash...goes off = RLOD....hmmm let's try some "heatgun stuff" first etc....let's hope all went correct and u have a "valid" dump

else....only dump-redump-re-redump and hope for a good backup, thats the god part of that noob e3clip if not connected to all pins...it does the same for writing..so no permbrick yet...goodluck tho..

I got my dump checked its valid. Here below is the message I receive from the guy at dumpcheck hotmail .co.uk. Could someone please guide me step by step what to do next.

tvrk_prog1 : 3.50 Valid

okay now put ur original dump in rogero nor auto patcher then drag ur dump and drop in the program it should start patching.. after that u will have two dumps
1.bkpps3
2.bkpps3.patched
u need the patched dump copy it and move it to the sd card of ur e3 .. make sure to rename us patched dump to "bkpps3.bin" and nothing else inside the e3 sd card..
*put the sd card back in the e3
*Put all switches down on flasher
* wait 20 seconds then press start
*when it's finnished reassemble all ur ps3 and put ur hdd back and turn on ur console
when u see "connect a controller " tell us here
but don't connect the controller !

When I power the ps3 with the patch in it still shorting down. It doesnt let me me wait 20sec. I wonder if im doing sumthing wrong

i'm not really into it, but should'nt you solder tristate to ground (ps3 will halt on boot) and flash your dump into the nor?

if it's working again you can start all over again.... i think.

sorry what is tristate? where to find it?
