Any way to install demos '.pkg' without internet connection?

I dont have a internet connection for the moment, yesterday i downloaded BF:BC on the PC, now ive got a 1.36Gigs pkg file but dont know how to transfer it to the PS3 without use of network. I tried to burn it on dvd but the PS3 doesnt regonize the disc.
Any other way to install?
I really wanna check Battlefield BC...
Thx,

Cant try the proxy setup way, dont have a internet connection at home for the moment. Is it possible to connect a laptop with the PS3 without having a internet connection, i have a 60gigs model with wifi and so does the laptop.
I will try with usb key but what should the folder be named at, like doing a update 'PS3=>UPDATE'..

PS3=>BF BC ??? (this is the name of the file 'N64D5kIIG0OpI3P5xtcLJm2NV1JANiBFIfPrJgrt9Eh6q6YiXg2tprVfte45j86AQ9rjwGcj1ARWbcyWV47lath0UBl8BV0Qy7eth.pkg')

weed37 you must know ur networking. All what he said above is correct, but Im not sure if he actually has to log in to the PSN Network in order to do this. Ledba, are you doing it the via home way? or the download a demo, pause it at 1%? If ur trying the pause at 1% its not gonna work cuz u have no net.

Weed he cant use ics (internet connection sharing) if he has no net at all.
Best bet is to try and get some open wifi from someone or d/l netzero, juno, or any of those free dial up services, then use ICS since u have a net connection and I vote you do it the pause at 1% way.

Exaclty.. i dont have a internet connection, i can use the neighbours network thats isnt secured (but its kinda far, low signal) and i have to sit by the window,LOL, and dont have a tv in that room.. Otherwise it woulndt be a problem, i now have the demo on the PC harddrive.
What do you mean with 'netzero, juno' free dialup services? Im from Europe, so dont know about that.
