Although I agree with your argument,

Who is to say that this @deano24 who created it has stolen someone's ID, he could very well have used the ID of a perma bricked console for all we know

I suppose its a bit of a moral dilemma.

The fact is, its out there and already in use (NGU) and if @deano24 has used a real ID, well the horse has already bolted.

Yes I do feel for the person who gets banned cos of it (if stolen) but my not using it aint gonna change a thing. its probably had a thousand d/l s already.

Some users knows where to stand on this dilemma or just they don't care..
I just posted what i see on a daily basis, since Black rope 2 got released.

We only have one thread with a poll but i think most users that unban their PS3's are not *smart* enough to use their own console ID's from their own bricked PS3.

Fact is average user don't know that. (and nope im not talking about senior users or contributors, etc) I talk about the one who registered 2 months ago and they just download things and don't give a **** about Hax. *Download link users*.
It's my view about this matter. (I could be dead wrong.)

It's not aimed to certain person, user this article. It's constructive criticism (if you can call it that way).
Something to read and think before doing something that eventually will affect most of us while Sony will not do anything (like always) about this problem.
They have their hand on the trigger and anyone can get hammered.

If we the users specially on this community, don't watch our backs or care about the others. This problem will keep escalating.

Any unban method that uses another persons ps3 ID is wrong period. Im all about modding and sticking it to the man, but there is nothing right about screwing some innocent kids ps3 up just so you can go back to playing BO2 and get banned yet again.

I have not been banned and accept that should it ever occur that that is just the price we pay to illegally access the Sony network..........at some point they will likely catch me and ban me.

Complaining they are banned. They have to unban Every one or have to sort there ban system out properly just like on xbox live. When they came with xgd3
And c4eva came with lt ultimate or whatever the name was It was over they started banning people who scratched their games and stuff and had to unban all those sorts of errors. Trust been playing on Xbox live for years only need to sure to patch your games trough abgx

Think about sony's in a bad position and they know it they dont want egg in their face from innocent people who dont even dare to mod their holy ps3 systems especialy with the ps orbis incoming

It's like any other program that randomly will generate a *key* for example some serial generator for the most *pirated os* but in this case the program has a db with console ID'S.
I said if you use some common sense is *stealing* from some other user because that random console ID probably is a real one.

I think most people know my thought on this.

I bet its 'people' like you that try to get banned so you can screw up people who dont want to use psn yet, but may do in the future. And when they do, bam they are banned.

To me the people using these tools are worse than the pirates downloading games, the game industry expects piracy, but innocent people dont expect to go online and get banned because someone else wanted to play black ops 2.

People using these unbanners are sore losers and just scum of society.

You played online with a hacked console and you got banned, deal with it, don't go and endanger other people's consoles or play experiences.

That is, if these unbanners randomly generate PS3 ID's, if they, on the other hand, spoof ID's extracted from PS3's that people themselves own and that people are ok with getting an ID ban, then I wouldn't mind the software.

I remember that the Fuc*Psn.exe had a blank ID spoofer which was invisible for sony . In that time nobody got banned. Maybe the devs could use that options so their ID database doesnt get empty.If every generated orginal ID gets blank on sony´s server there wont be a problem anymore. Just an idea.

I also play online with cfw,but I never touched codbo online. I played it offline , finished story and deleted. For now I play PES or FIFA and BF3 online and didnt get a ban.Hope it stay so...
