Well, No Problems were faced when I connected it to my PC, And I just connect my Passport with a USB cord (Directly)..

Try a Powered Hub.

Even if that does not cure it, you have more charging ports.

Just as an example though, my Nexus Tablet will charge from almost any USB charger, but it will only charge whilst being used with the one it came with (it draws too much power to charge and run at the same time from other chargers)

It wont give you a problem on the Pc only the ps3

Download Easeus or Paragon and delete all partitions, then create a new one formatted to fat32

Its worth a shot before buying a hub

I Haven't made any Partition on the Passport, It's a single stand alone Drive, as Fat32.

Its hidden and was put there on manufacture !

For allocation unit size choose 65536.

It works everytime.

Just tried this method: Worked for me, just tested a spare 1TB WD passport. This is a much more agile solution
