Changing Banned ConsoleID with Broken PS3's ConsoleID?

Does this still work? Im trying to get a legit console id off a broken system? is that possible? Maybe a physical number somewhere printed on it? its a ps3 i own and use for parts now...or do i need another ps3 with cfw that is not banned? found out how, with a flasher.

Running Rogero cfw 4.30.v2 on my original BC80gb PS3 now 1TB. Fixed up with Arctic Silver5, the cooler running 40gb ps3 power supply and 19 blade upgraded fan. I want that baby to last forever. Brought Back From Dead Oct 23, 2012-Died March 2011! Running Great!
