Rogero 3.55 to 4.30
I've just downgraded and installed Rogero. However, it's 3.55. Do I need to upgrade to 4.30 and is it just a case of putting the new Rogero update in the relevant folder and renaming? I haven't Toggled QA. Is this advisable?
I'd rather have the newest version on my PS3. Thanks. |

So, install the QA toggle and then upgrade as normal i.e. on a USB and through the XMB?

make sure the qa toggle worked with the button combo (go to network settings and press L1L2 R1R2 L3 and down on D-pad) if three extra menu appear it has worked. If not toggle again and try the button combo again. After that you need to install 3.55 ofw via recovery. Once that has completed install 4.3 v2.05 via xmb

Thanks. It opened up a new option. I only added toggle_qa.pkg. Is that correct?

Boot into Recovery Menu: press and hold power button you get 1 beep then a wait then a second beep then the ps3 turns off press and hold power button again you get 1 beep then 2 beeps let go of power button select "6. System Update" to reinstall firmware. If installation finishes without error (there will be no logs you can check!) and boots XMB OK, then dehashing was successful. Congrats, you now finished downgrading and dehashing. Console runs 3.55 and any firmware of choice can be installed, no longer needing to be patched for downgrader. ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* Followed these and factory mode worked Step 1: Turn off your Playstation 3. Step 2: Hold the Power button down. The system will turn on and turn off once again. Step 3: Once the system has been shutdown, Re-press and hold you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps. |

Yes you will need to install multiMAN full 04.17.00 ( I think) to play all your backups. Then you can update within multiMAN to the latest addittion. You wil soon get the hang of things, if not their is lots of help here at hax. I'm off to bed now as I'm up at half 5 for an early shift and I'm shagged. Glad to help mate.
