OFW 2,85 -> OFW 3,55 -> ROGERO CFW. I DIDN'T TOGGLE QA..

OFW 2,85 -> OFW 3,55 -> ROGERO CFW. I DIDN'T TOGGLE QA..

I wne't to IRC and they said that I'm pretty much doomed.

I know that it was my failure, but I thought that it's not needed when I haven't Hardware downgraded.

What are my options now?

Thanks once again.

Relax. If you did exactly how you explained, you should be fine. QA toggle is recommended but only 100% necessary if you ever downgraded. From now onwards QA toggle before you install any CFW just in case because if you QA toggle, the chance of bricking your PS3 is very much less.

Someone correct me if Im wrong Ive had a couple of stevorkz special brews

I didn't toggle qa as I never downgraded. I went from 3.55 to rebug Rex 4.21 and have no issues. Don't worry about it, adamsville is just pissed that his beloved true blue is dead.

Do not worry My Friend,
did you Update To Rogero CFW 4.30 V2.05.
although it recommended to do the QA, but the last Rogero CFW has LV2 Checks disabled so you will be fine

just make a Dump of your NOR Using Multiman or MemDump and keep it safe for any case

IRC is just a place where people go to talk behind others backs as they don't have the balls to do it to there face. If you ever need to downgrade you can install qa toggle when you are on the downgrader pup. rebug 999 downgrader pup is the best to use. But you have no need to downgrade anyway so you are good to go.

Yes You can
you can downgrade back to 3.55 using Rogero downgrader than you activate the QA flag.
but as i said it is not needed.
no harm done
