i guess you uninstalled the *Install Package Files app by SM
if you install that again you are able to go to SM without app_home

but without that homebrew you arent able to load SM while a backup has been loaded

Thanks for your reply FaxiY, I have installed Rogero 4.30 v2.05 that has the reinstated 'Install PKG files' icon, can I still install the standalone 'Install PKG files' PKG on that? Obviously I would have 2 icons then but if it means no restart then that's ok lol.

yeah you can do that and you would have 2 install pkg files
one is a folder(i call it the simple *IPF by rogero) and the other is an app by SM you can use to launch it
in rogero earlier roger 2.0x versions there was no *IPF so mM was required to install pkg files
