Hi

First of al sorry if this has been answered before but i'm really scared of bricking my ps3.

I just let my ps3 get downgraded by someone and he has put it on rogero fw 4.30(dunno the exact version) but what do i need to do if i want to update it to rogero's cfw 4.30v2.05, cuz' i've seen allot about dehashing and that stuff but rogero says it can be installed perfectly over xmb update?
Can someone tel me what steps i need to do for it to upgrade it?

oke wel i just found a tutorial and i downloaded the rogero cfw 4.30v2.05updat.pup but the program cfw validator says it could damage my ps3 hardware does this mean i need to search for another copy or can i use it 'cuz it came from the head post from this site?

It most likely says that because the validator doesn't have that particular firmware in it's database.

If it came from this site then you shouldn't have an issue but check the MD5 on it, it should say 91fb63b42b9d3e24a29478a71524de64

you can update through the xmb, but always check the md5 first
