I'm sorry, you're right, I do not understand how I could do this confusion, however after flashing the patched dump, you can install the 355 checkoff also of the recovery mode, the method by FSM is the most recommended because it ensures better system stability but if you have problems you can re-flash NOR with the dump patched as before and use the dongle

Do not attempt to enter Factory Service Mode on a firmware above 3.55. IIRC, you won't be able to leave it.

I think you miss my point here. I am trying to downgrade with e3 flasher, and for this you NEED to enter FSM. That is why we use the dongle.

Thumbs up

u still need to make the TI-84 as a FSM dongle?

follow this easy guide, tools attached (the guide was made using the ps3jb.0.08.0001.zip)

Start up TI Connect and connect your TI-84 Plus via the USB cable.

Open the folder created by unzipping the PS3JB file and drag "PS3JB.8xk" from that folder onto the TI Connect Device Manager.

Disconnect the calculator once the transfer is complete and press the "Apps" button.

Start the app on the calculator and set the payload to none.

Set "Emulate Jig" to "Yes" on the app.

TI-84 >> FSM dongle ready

Do the "default downgrade" as ur on 4.31OFW

Connect the calculator to your PS3 via USB cable. Make sure the cable is connected only to the USB port on the furthest right.

Turn on the PS3 via the power button and immediately press the eject button. ( = trigger FSM)
not tested on a ti-84 here i trust the internet..nah for real..this should do the job

Yes I still needed this as I didn't have the time to try it. Thank you very much for that guide! It is really more detailed as the ones I came across. Can't wait to try this. Thanks once again
