After the way Sony has treated me a customer, the way they have removed features I paid for then told me I don't own my console and can't do anything I want with it? And are now trying to make our used games worthless? Yeah you sony sheep have fun with that.

You have those features back... You're talking about Linux right? As for BC... Get a PS2 or even better emulate them on the superior PC in real HD (1920x1080) at 60FPS. Or are you talking about Sony removing cheap third-party controller support shortly after PS JB was released? Really? How many of you are seriously tripping because you can't use your $10 Madcatz controller? Or are you talking about Sony removing USB ports even though you can use a USB hub anyway to add more ports? Or are you talking about that Folding @hom e app that nobody used anyway?

Yeah 15 million users are nobodies........

I wish you knew what you were talking about before you spoke/typed/trolled.

1.) People on Official Firmware DO NOT have Linux back, so @transamguy 's statement sticks, also it was not Sony that returned it, so your point saying that it has returned is invalid.

2.) Not everyone lives at home with mummy, so cannot afford a PS3 as well as a PS2 and a high end PC, so a PS3 With BC was a great idea, it also saved space.

3.) As i said in #2, not everyone lives at home with their mummy's and get all their sh*t bought for them, people who have left home have other things to pay for, like bills, food ect, so buying a $10 instead of a $30 helps a lot.

4.) Its more convenient to have more USB port on the console, than having to plug in a USB port...

5.) In five years and 7 months, more than 15 million users contributed over 100 million hours of computation to Folding @ home, source.

I totally agree.
1.. yep, no CFW, no Linux. at launch the ps3 had OFW+Linux.

2. I have a ps2 but having BC was great. saves space. plus my ps3 is a ps3 + a ps2(partial emulation), launch models were full hardware.

3. doesn´t affect me but I totally understand trying to save some bucks. times are tough. I wouldn´t be happy if my controller stopped working.

4. sure you can use a hub but In haven´t needed one yet. 4 usb ports is handy. since they took away 2 from the front they could have added 1 usb port to the back. would have been alot more convenient to hook up the camara....and since they were pushing Move...you want a well set up system.

5. I never used it but if there were 15 million users, damn didn´t realize there was so many, that´s alot of unhappy custumers.

Although I like Sony, you have to admit they made alot of bad decisions this generation.
I hope they´ve learned fron there mistakes and will do better this time around.
