Unhappy PS3 External Hard Drive is not showing in Multiman

1) I've a 1Tb External HDD, Formatted to Fat32, Made a game folder in the HDD as GAMEZ, I've a Blu ray, Inside the PS3, and yes, It is jail broken with MULTIMAN
2)I'm trying to connect it with my PS3 and It's not ****ing showing me there, I called the person from whom I got it, He's saying there's a software will going to be installed in the HDD, Which software is that ?
3) Should I take out the cd for HDD to work?

Please @Mindfreez3 don't make multiple threads with the same content.
You will get confused and you will confuse also the ones who want to help you.

Regards.

I've had this happen to me once. What I did:

1) Make sure you're on the XMB.
2) Disconnect the HDD from the USB port.
3) Power down the PS3 without the HDD
4) Plug the HDD back in while its off
5) Power back on the PS3 & hope that the PS3 recognizes it.

These steps worked for me.

Good Luck.
