PS3 NAND Clip Makes Me Rage
This bloody thing worked fine for flash 0 after some tinkering and clamping. Now off to flash 1. What? You want to be a little b1tch and mock me by detecting the NAND but freezing at dumping block 0? Arghhhhh
Anyway I've been told that one of the pins is not making contact. Anyone know which pin it might be so I can adjust it? Andy you probably know. Thanks! |

It could be one or multiple pins try pushing to one side or the other
Failing that your going to struggle without something like my NAND adaptor Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Last edited by Sarah1331; 01-26-2013 at 11:52 AM. |

Alright thanks. And I'll be sure to get an adapter from you if I ever develop the skills or balls to remove the TSOPs.

Is pin 1 on the clip even used for a PS3 NAND? I see that there are 3 pins which I believe aren't required but I'm not positive.

I think all of them are used on different TSOPs such as the one on the Wii and maybe 360 motherboard, but only some of them on the PS3's TSOP. There is a pinout for soldering the Progskeet directly to the NAND and according to that some of the pins aren't used. Can anyone clarify?

No pin one not needed nor is it needed on 360 or wii
I think the 360 clip has two or three unused pins ![]() Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk Last edited by Sarah1331; 01-28-2013 at 03:29 AM. |
