Hey guys, I've tried to use a E3 flasher to downgrade my PS3.
But have to stop coz my dongle cant lead the console to FSM. OGM!!!!
(I've tried ps3 break1.2 and kit, also I know the combe of power + eject)
it just turn on normally, not into FSM. : (

Everystep before this is OK and the same as the tutorial.
How could this happen???!!!

Will appreciate if anybody can help.

Thx but all the procedures are ok except when I use a dongle.
I mean this step
19. Press POWER then EJECT in that order within a split second. and wait for the PS3 to shut off by itself.

I install the firmware that the dongle need, then insert it into PS3 (second slot)
Press power then Eject......nothing happened, it just run into XMB not the FSM...

incase u didn't test:

first pull the power cable/switch OFF at the back
insert FSM dongle
plugin powercable/switch ON
now trigger FSM(power+eject)
if the FSM payload is correctly installed it should trigger FSM

I too am looking for the mHex codes for PS3Break v1.2, I followed the guide, but the grades they listed don't like they are for PS3Break v1.2. Is their supposed to be a grade I can use for it in that list?
