The only (practical) difference I saw was the default core running Retroarch for the first time.

The snes9x core you provided can be considered part of the official Retroarch 0.9.8 release?

Yes, It's compiled from the current source.

Square has said that he is going to make another release with the bugs ironed out.

Some FBA games are starting in service mode. I think its better to wait a few days for a new release with bugfixes

Didn't make a backup myself, just posted the link I was provided, btw, the signed files were not so different than those available in other packs the only change is that they were signed for different CFWs, that's all.

The one I released is compatible with CFW from 3.40 or higher (4.XX), so you're not missing anything .

Oh ok. Thanks for letting me know that it was nothing major. I just finished getting the updated FBA romset complete. (Fun)
