HI, please help, i have a ps3 with ofw 3.50, i want to jail break it, and im noober than noob, so can someone please provide me with a COMPLETE guide to what i have to do?

a few years back my ps3 had version 2 point something, i bought a usb flash and instead of jailbreaking it i updated it to 3.50 by mistake, now years later im ready to jailbreak it CORRECTLY this time, so please HELP

You just need to read those, remove any game disc from your PS3, update to 3.55 OFW, install 3.55 CFW (done if you want 3.55 CFW. If you want 4.30 then: QA flag, update to 4.30 CFW of your choice)

It's that simple.

I recommend REBUG 4.30.2 REX.

It's very easy. Just don't F^ck it up this time or you're waiting a year or two again.


All you need is your USB stick...download CFW 3.55 and go to Update, then click update from storage device(usb stick).

at the moment im reading this thread "itskamel's NOOB JAILBREAK GUIDE"

so you recommend REBUG over this? is there a reason for it?

and yes i want to update to the latest version without making a BIG mistake like years ago which i suffered a lot for it, thats why i want to be SUPER careful so i need a very good Guide if there is one

so i can just update from ofw 3.50 to cfw 3.55 no need to update to ofw 3.55? - are you 100% sure?

Yes you should be able to even install REBUG REX from XMB on your OFW.
(but I would recommend QA flagging which requires 3.55 CFW first afaik)

INSTALL: From XMB install REBUG REX EDITION over the same or lower firmware version OFW/CFW/MFW or any firmware version CFW/MFW with spkg sig check patched and QA enabled.

XMB is the menu on your ps3 the menu that you can chose to play a game or play a movie or ps stopre etc... QA flag dunno
